Membership

Membership in the Friends of the Grosse Pointe Public Library is open to everyone.

The benefits of membership include:

• "Friends Day" at the Library. On the first Thursday of each month, video and DVD rentals at the Library will be FREE to Friends members. NEW: Video games are also free on the first Thursday of the month to Friends' members.

• Free attendance at our events including the Classics Books Lecture Series, our Annual Meeting, and our Friends and Families events.

• Friends Only hours at Used Book Sales before they open to the general public.

• Early admittance to Friends' events, such as the Halloween costume sale and bookstore sales.

• The opportunity to participate in volunteer activities.

• Meeting your neighbors and making new friends.

• The satisfaction of supporting your Library and your community.

If you are a Friends member, we encourage you to consider giving your time as a Director or as a volunteer. The time involved is modest, but the rewards are great.
