On Saturday, December 12, from 11 a.m. - 1p.m., Grosse Pointe native Lisa Goich will be discussing her new book:14 Days, A Mother, A Daughter, A Two-Week Goodbye, at the Woods Branch of the GPPL ( 20680 Mack Avenue, Grosse Pointe Woods).
Lisa Goich is an award-winning copywriter, talk radio host, and former standup comedian. She's worked for some of the biggest names in the literary and entertainment business, including Mitch Albom, who wrote the foreword for the book, Carole King, Robert Redford, and ABC. As a talk radio host and producer, Lisa has worked for KFI in Los Angeles and WJR in Detroit. She lives in Los Angeles with her husband, musician Teddy Andreadis (Guns 'n' Roses, Carole King, Alice Cooper(, and their four rescue dogs. She and her maltese mix Angie work with hospice patients and their families, helping to make their transitions to the other side a loving, bonding, and peaceful experience.
Lisa’s book launched on November 10, and she was interviewed that day on WJR by Paul W. Smith. Lisa will also be appearing on more Detroit-area radio programs, including Mitch Albom’s. Listen to the Podcast.
