Halloween Costume Sale
Halloween Costume Sale
The Friends of the Grosse Pointe Public Library collect donated, gently used Halloween costumes (sized infant to teen). The Friends Donation boxes are placed at each of the Grosse Pointe Library branches in late summer through the month of September.
On the first Saturday in October, The Friends hold their annual Halloween Costume Sale at the Grosse Pointe Woods Library Branch in the Program Room.
Friends Members are the first to be admitted, fifteen minutes before the official start time, allowing them to get the best pick of available costumes. Most costumes sell for $5.00. In addition to costumes and accessories, Halloween books and videos are on sale. Halloween craft-making is offered by the Library’s Teen Advisory Board.
